How we handle personal information

Prance Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how we handle personal data and related information on the Prance website (domain: prance.co.jp, the “Site”). Section 7 sets out how we handle the personal information of people who apply for positions listed on this site.
1. Information We Collect
When operating the Site, we may collect the following information:
- Information you provide when contacting us (name, company, email address, message content, etc.).
- Technical information such as access logs (IP address, browser/device information, referrer, timestamps, pages viewed, etc.).
- Information collected via cookies or similar technologies (preferences, usage-related identifiers, etc.).

- Responding to inquiries, communicating with you, and verifying the requester as needed.
- Improving the Site, optimising content, and enhancing usability.

The Site uses cookies so that it can remember your language, protect the contact form against automated submissions, and measure how the Site is used. 4. Transfers to Third-Party Services
We do not provide personal data to third parties without your consent, except where required or permitted by applicable law.
The Site does, however, rely on services operated by other companies, and some of your information reaches them. Each service is listed below with the recipient, what is sent, and why. We update this list whenever a service is added or changed.

- What is sent: IP address, browser type and language, referring page, the URL and time of the page you view, and the identifiers stored in cookies
- Purpose: understanding how the Site is used, and improving it
- How to stop it: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or refuse cookies in your browser settings

Cloudflare Turnstile
- Recipient: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)
- What is sent: IP address, browser type and language, and how you interact with the form
- Purpose: preventing automated (bot) submissions of the contact form
- Recipient’s policy: Cloudflare Privacy Policy
Both recipients are located outside Japan, and the information reaching them is handled under their own policies.
5. Security Measures
We strive to implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, logging, and encryption in transit where appropriate.
6. Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described above, and we strive to delete or anonymize it in a reasonable manner once it is no longer needed.
7. Personal Information of Job Applicants
When you apply for a position listed on this site, we use the information you provide with your application — including your name, contact details, and the contents of your CV and work history — together with information we obtain during the selection process, for the following purposes.
- Reviewing your application, carrying out the selection process, and informing you of the outcome
- Communicating with you about the selection process and arranging interviews
- Deciding whether to make an offer, and completing onboarding if you join us
We do not use this information for any purpose other than recruitment and hiring, and we do not provide it to third parties, except with your consent or where required by law. Where we do not proceed with an application, we delete or anonymise the information in accordance with the retention period set out in Section 6.
